James Maddison admits Spurs are not good enough, deserves criticism after six straight league winless games

The aftermath of the 2024-25 English Premier League football match at Goodison Park, “The Roosters” Tottenham Hotspur lost 2-3 to Everton, with the same 24 points, ranked 15th in the table, only 8 points away from the relegation zone and 14 points away from the top four.

After the game, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder James Maddison accepted criticism from fans after failing to win any of their last six league games (lost 5, drew 1).

James Maddison said: “We are in a difficult moment. We have to accept that we are not good enough. We have to stick together and keep fighting. เล่น UFABET ผ่านมือถือ สะดวกทุกที่ ทุกเวลา This is the only way.”

“The fans will be disappointed for sure. We have to accept the criticism. Everyone has the right to have an opinion. Some fans in the away team were not happy (shouting at the idiots) and that’s right. We have to accept the truth, accept that we were not good enough and accept the criticism.”

Tottenham need to improve their form

Spurs have faced some difficulty this term, especially with injuries which has left Ange Postecoglou’s side struggling at times.

However, with the quality they have throughout their squad, there is no excuse for the Lilywhites to be as low as they are in the table and certainly not getting as close as they are to the relegation zone in the top flight.

Going into the game against Tottenham, Everton has picked up just three wins throughout the campaign which shows the magnitude of the result as the Toffees put in a display that was worthy of the three points.
